Who We Are
Hawaii Events Unlimited started late 2015. It originally started with Marvin and TC with the idea of combining forces to bring a company that can provide all the entertainment services an event would need. Services like DJs, Emcees, Photo Booths, Lighting, Sound, etc. Nate aka DJ Flip was later added to our company to propel us in the wedding market and Hanson a year later to help with our sales and marketing. Each of the members having countless years of experience in the industry bringing their own expertise makes Hawaii Events Unlimited as one of the most sought out companies out there.
About the owners

His family started in ‘Mobile Disco’ when he was only 4 years old. The first record he ever touched was ‘Sending All My Love – Linear’ at the age of 5. At 12 years old, he started helping the family with the business and at 14 years old, he starting DJ’ing at various parties.
At 16, he started learning about the night club industry and was mentored by many of the top radio DJ’s & personalities. For the next few years, he began to hone his DJ’ing skills and entered his first DJ battle in 2002 and placed second.
As of late, he’s been working more and more weddings & coorporate events. He’s been the music support for our emcees at our weddings. His musical knowledge spans from the oldies to modern day hip-hop. And then closing each function with awesome music and entertainment.
At 16, he started learning about the night club industry and was mentored by many of the top radio DJ’s & personalities. For the next few years, he began to hone his DJ’ing skills and entered his first DJ battle in 2002 and placed second.

Born and raised in Hawaii, Punahou graduate and proud father, Hanson, has learned all his core values being raised by his hard working father who immigrated here from Vietnam and his caring local mother who is active in the Japanese Okinawan community.
Since 2005, as the owner and operator of Level H Promotions, he has gained years of hands on professional event planning and event hosting experience with over a 1000 events under his belt. Working through high pressure situations while working with multiple vendors, sponsors, venues and customer attendance varying from a handful of high stakes VIPs to 6000+ concert attendees all at the same time, he has helped put on notable events like Birthday Bash, Mayjah Rayjah, Alohalaulea, Hallowbaloo, Revive the Live, NYE at Aloha Tower, NYE at 53 by the Sea, as well as events at 50+ venues on multiple islands, California, and Las Vegas.
As the former General Manager and Marketing Director of the O Lounge (now the Republik) for over 4 years, he managed a team of over 60 employees, overseeing and hands on of all daily operation as well as special events which included catering of more than 400 guests and VIP clients.
Through his non-profit organizational work, (United Nations of Hawaii, Worldwide Association of Culture and Peace, Xccel of Hawaii, City and County Office of Economic Development), he has planned, coordinated, and executed multi-national events with a diversity of people from around the world.
He is also known and graced media coverage for being a Hawaii nightlife guru, a former hip hop dance instructor / choreographer with Drill Team Hawaii / University of Hawaii / Affinity Dance Team, and previously a Group Fitness instructor and member of the marketing department at the Honolulu Club.
