1. What is uplighting?
Uplighting are fixtures that are placed up against a wall, pillar, or tree that shoots up pillars of light up against it. They are battery powered and can be placed almost anywhere. They can produce a variety of colors that can match your decor.
2. What is the difference between "static" and "dynamic" uplighting?
Static Uplighting
Uplighting are the pillars of light that is up against a wall, pillar, tree, etc. Static uplighting is a non-changing one color uplight. It stays on throughout the night as one color. With multiple uplighting, each light can have it's own color.
Dynamic Uplighting
Dynamic Uplighting adds a dedicated lighting designer to this service. A lighting designer is capable of changing the colors on the fly. They can also manually control the lights to slowly fade from one to color to the next throughout the night. Effects can be done by our lighting designer during your First Dance, Bouquet Toss, Garter Toss, etc. to make it more elegant or exciting.

Here is a video of one of our lighting designers controlling the uplights and making it dance with the music.

In the video to the right, dynamic uplighting does not have to be harsh and dramatic. Depending on what is currently happening, we can control the uplighting to match the situation. A first dance does not need dramatic lighting. Subtlety may work more effectively.
