What's your DJ alias? How did you get it?

DJ Hapa Boy was actually given to me by my pops.  Because I am Hapa and everyone called me a Hapa Boy growing up as a kid. ​

Something most people know about you?

I bring the Energy and will entertain ANY crowd!

Something not everyone knows about you?

I love to cook! If I wasn't DJing I'd be cheffing it up somewhere as we speak. 

How did you get into DJing?

Coming from a Video Production background, I was first hired to create recap videos for the club before I was 18. That's where I saw first hand what the DJs were doing to the crowd and I wanted to that too! So I made the decision to buy everything I needed and Teach myself.  I haven’t looked back since.

Who were your inspirations as a DJ and/or someone who mentored you?

DJ Toma was a huge inspiration coming up in the game. His diversity and creativity is rare and the fact he left this rock to further his career help me see that there is more out there than this island. ​

We know you can play everything, but name two genres that you love to DJ and why?

Hip Hop is first, you can mix ANYTHING with hip hop and great creativity stems with a great foundation of music. 2nd would be Big Room EDM. Love being able to bring the energy to its peak!

Tell us about your favorite DJ moment?

Performing at the Blaisdell to a sold out Hawaii crowd was one of my most favorite DJ moments.
