​February 20, 2025 Wedding - Aulani Resort: Lanikuhonua ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Everyone did an excellent job. I spoke with Hope to go over the details of our event, and she was very nice and helpful and made some good suggestions. Marvin did a great job working with me, helping me with details such as directions for the spotlight we ordered and creating a mashup of songs for our first dance. He sent me a demo of the mashup and made the adjustments I asked for. I ordered a spotlight and the spotlight operator did a great job lighting up the people and events I requested. The DJ was excellent too. He played the songs on my list and did a great job reading the dance floor and timing songs. Our MC, Ray, also did a great job. Many guests mentioned how great he was and how funny he was. He consulted with me before the wedding over the phone and did a great job incorporating the information I gave him to make his announcements more personal. Overall, Tom and I both thought Hawaii Events exceeded our expectations and did an excellent job from our first contact to finishing our event.” -Jacqueline

Something that was a little confusing on our end was talking with different people during the process of scheduling meetings and sending information. We would email the same email address but sometimes different people would respond. Hawaii Events Unlimited was a great vendor for our big day! We were happy with the information we were given, their team being available for any questions as they came up, and the quality of service. -Melissa 
February 28, 2025 Wedding - Roy’s Ko’olina ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “As the Bride and Groom, we were extremely impressed and happy with our decision to hire Hawaiian Events Unlimited. The booking process was easy and our wedding coordinator enjoyed working with the DJs. 
The DJs adhered to our ‘do not play list’ and played many of the songs we wanted to hear throughout the night while also choosing some of their own and taking requests! Songs were mixed seamlessly. Oftentimes during weddings, there is a lull in the dancing. Not our wedding! The dance floor was packed and lively the entire night. There were no dead points. Our package came with dance floor lighting that changed color throughout the night and added to the experience! We received multiple compliments from our guests about how the DJ was on fire and made the experience one to remember! 
We couldn’t be happier with our decision to hire Hawaii Events Unlimited and the DJs who were at our event. Any couple planning a wedding would be lucky to work with Hawaii Events Unlimited. -Siera & Garrett

They played all the music I requested, the photobooth template was so beautiful, and Steezy was a wonderful, hilarious emcee and so entertaining! I will definitely be using Hawaii Events Unlimited in the future!!! Can't improve on absolute perfection :) Thank you for adding the colorful lights that rotated around the room! This is my second time booking with Hawaii events, I plan to use them in the future for events! April 5, 2025 Wedding - Dillingham Ranch ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Hawaii Events Unlimited, an undeniably organized, respected, and dignified establishment that has exceeded well beyond our expectation. The customer service was just more than a visit, the welcoming and inviting environment given to us by Hanson and the staff reassured a smooth, easy, and successful planning. The staff itself operated in an effective, cohesive unit with assisting us in understanding the process to begin and proactively communicating. We were reassured to receive accommodations that prepared us with an abundance of options to fit our needs and help facilitate our wedding.
To add on, Hawaii Events Unlimited was tremendously flexible to unforeseen changes. From providing DJs in which they were really patient in helping orchestrate our music playlist and what we wanted, lights and cold sparks, and most especially setting up the photo booth that gave way an impressive quick reaction when plans were made to alter the design. I am deeply filled with gratitude from the outcome of our wedding and to look forward to see more successes from this establishment.” -Crystalyn

April 19, 2025 Birthday - Kapolei Rec Center Rec 2 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “The staff arrived on time, set up was kind of tricky due to the limited space our venue had, but we managed to figure it out. The night went smoothly, all thanks to Steezy! We got a little flustered here and there. Overall the party was great! Everyone had fun. Also the music was awesome!!! DJ killed it with all the songs he was playing throughout the night.
Would recommend them to anyone. And will definitely use their company again in the future!” -Babylene

Thank you for also accommodating our last-minute switch for our first dance song from a recorded track to live singers. We appreciate all of you!! From communication, being able to constantly update forms, and even the ease of setting up a meeting with how responsive you folks were, for me, I can't find anything that needs improvement! How easy it was to communicate with you folks if needed, and how quick I would get responses via email when we had that little hiccup with adding live singers for just a song. Despite the fact that, at that point, the wedding was a week away, everyone adjusted seamlessly without major issues and there was no hesitation when we were told it would be possible to add that in! -Kori
May 31, 2025 Birthday & Retirement - FILCOM ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Brother Bryan was a great MC interacting with the guest allowing me to focus on other things for the event. He confirmed timelines before and up to the event day. Kristen was awesome with the slides and met my needs of what I wanted in the slide shows. The DJ kept the part lit for all guests keeping everyone on the dance floor. The lights were amazing and gave a more hype-feel environment that everyone enjoyed. Will definitely recommend and book again with Hawaii event unlimited! Professionalism, responsiveness, and execution exceeded our expectations! June 14, 2025 Graduation - 604 Ballroom Schofield Barracks ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “First of all, I was very impressed by their promptness.  My event was on a military installation and the team had to have left extremely early to get through the gates and have their equipment up and running before we got here to decorate.  They were very professional and super friendly.  My guest loved my MC, Rayton Lamay.  They kept asking who he was because he was awesome!! The screen for the slideshow should be bigger or the placement of the screen should be in the center of the room.  My guests who were sitting at the other end of the room had a hard time seeing and hearing anything. Our MC, Rayton Lamay did an awesome job with the flow of our party. My guest loved his humor and interaction. Kristen created our Photo Booth template and our slideshow.  She kept me well informed, answered all my questions and made changes that I requested quickly. You should have live entertainment as additional options for your packages. -Shai

June 27, 2025 Wedding - Hyatt Regency Hotel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “I had a great experience with Hanson and Marvin. My brother was our DJ and we rented a sound system from Hawaii Events Unlimited. Hanson went above and beyond to respond to all of our questions and assured us that they would be able to provide all of the equipment and technical support that he needed to do an amazing job. We also rented the kabuki drop and the 360 video booth which everyone loved. Double checking that the monogram that is being used is the final one that was agreed about after any revisions, other than that, no recommendations. Great communication, response time and availability and willingness to thoroughly explain all of the services you provide” -Melissa 
July 5, 2025 Wedding - Queen Kapiolani ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “The emcee was amazing and guided the group with ease. The whole crew was so comfortable with our guests and we had so much fun. It was never awkward or silent. They had great sound effects added throughout the night. The only thing I didn't know ahead of time was how many people would be coming. I only thought maybe one or two people max. I didn't know I'd be buying food for more than that because it was never stated how many people I should expect to stay for the entire event. Since our reception was so small and had less than 50 people, I didn't think we would need 4 guys to run the event and manage the equipment. I loved the beautiful setup and how precise it was to what we selected online. It was so easy to do through the portal we had access to. The emcee was fantastic and blew me away!” -Courtney ​

They were super helpful throughout the night and not having to worry about the photobooth and music was the greatest gift for me. Overall, I enjoyed working with the HEU team. From the beginning when I inquired, the team was super responsive over email. Using the portal was very easy and straightforward. Leading up to the event, I liked how I got some reminder emails. I even did a customized photobooth picture design and they nailed it based on my description. So awesome! Everything from the DJ, MC, Lights, and Photo Booth met everything we needed for our event. We appreciated how easy it was to plan/coordinate and how well communication was even though we are in the mainland —-  we were definitely in good hands. Thank you all so much! The only thing was the issue for the grand entrance. For the bridesmaids entrance, the song used was incorrect. DJ played the wrong song (instead of the requested song for bridesmaids, the flower girl / ring bearer song was played).” -Ayana

We appreciated Kristen and Richelle making the photobooth such a fun experience for us and our guests! Everything went so smoothly, it's hard to find any faults - one thing was it was hard to hear Marvin over the phone during our call but that's such a minor thing haha and he was very friendly and helpful, so no worries there.There were no audio issues or glitches that we noticed - the mics always worked and the levels were properly adjusted as needed, and the music coming through the speakers was crisp and powerful. They listened to all of our requests, and during the dance portion, DJ Shift flowed from song to song and kept the energy up the whole time. The lighting really helped elevate the dance portion, too. October 4, 2025 Wedding - Koolau Ballroom ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “When they say their packages are customizable, they mean it! We went with the Classic Reception Package and ended up adjusting services to meet our needs, and Hanson & Marvin were more than understanding. We had a daytime wedding at the Glass Ballroom at Ko'olau Ballrooms where natural lighting shines through, so uplights were not necessary - we were able to swap this out for Ceremony Sound! Dance lighting was also not needed, so we removed this service. They were easy to reach and responded to our emails in a timely manner. Having the Portal was incredibly useful! DJ Shake & Assistant Jerry honored our song requests and kept the momentum going. Music sets the one & is such a big part of weddings, and they executed! MC Candace Kay is a natural - she has great stage presence. From our meeting before the big day, I could tell how much thought & detail she puts into her craft in order to execute a beautiful program. Kristen created and designed our beautiful photo strip with the inspo we sent over. She also emailed a link of the photobooth captures two days after the wedding! Hawaii Events Unlimited played such a vital role in making our wedding day look & feel exactly as we had envisioned.” -Kelly
October 18, 2025 Wedding - Turtle Bay Resort :The Stables ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “HEU was a great group to work with! We had the DJ, MC, and photo booth. Hanson helped us work out a package that would get us the best deal. The portal was very organized and we were able to express exactly what music we wanted for the day. The music festival lighting upgrade was everything we wanted and more. The lights, lasers, and fog looked amazing and really brought our reception to life. The DJ really kept the party going. Bryan gave the announcements that we needed and helped set the mood for the reception. We loved having personalized photo strips. Thank you to Kristen for working on those with us. The guests really enjoyed all of the props as well. There was a large variety of backgrounds and props to choose from and the process felt very personalized.” -Jenny ​
October 25, 2025 Wedding - Hanalani Gardens and Okinawa Center ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Sound at the ceremony was seamless. Also, we chose one money dance song but ended up needing 3 altogether and wanted to compliment the Dj on the song choices for the other two money dance songs.We did have one meeting with our emcee, overall was great. The only thing was the night before the wedding, our emcee reached out to inquire on a few timeline questions in which we had discussed during our meeting. With the hustle and bustle of things going on the night before the wedding, we just wish these questions were asked earlier. Emcee during the reception including the guests and making it feel alive! Loved the song suggestions that were available on the portal as well. Photobooth was awesome! Definitely appreciated being able to request copies at the wedding and also really grateful for getting a copy of all guest photos!” -Ku’ulei

Very nice and helpful and know how to do their jobs well.Perhaps a more detailed MC form that requires a very specific timeline, including dance/speeches orders.
