I love how the packages are built and the fact that you can add on or remove something from the package if necessary. Marvin is great at communicating and his response times are quick! I love how easy the portal is to use; and that it tells you what tasks and payments need to be completed. Everything from the dj, pho tobooth, slide show, and plighting were exactly as we envisioned. Everyone is frie ndly and professional. They even streamed and projected the NFL playoff game at our sons first birthday party. We loved how everything came out. We also really appreciated the samples that were provided. Everything really was great day of, and really didn't have any worries. The lights were beautiful and music spot on (we really wished we could've danced longer)!

April 11, 2023 Wedding - Aulani ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Quite a few of the songs on our "must haves/top 5 songs to make the wedding couple dance" didn't end up getting played which was unfortunate. There were also some ran dom songs played that I had never heard. My MOH asked the DJ about it and they said it was on my playlist which it definitely wasn't as I had never even heard of the s ong. Given the short reception, it would've been nice to have stuck more closely with the playlist. A lot of songs were mashed up/remixed together too, which did work in some instances but in others felt a bit unnecessary.

They did pay attention to the crowds' needs and had a pretty packed dance floor for the most part. Mostly all of my notes/requests were actioned which I appreciated. Everyone i spoke to was super friendly!" -Tauro

July 28, 2023 Wedding - Okinawan Center ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "I loved that Hawaii Events Unlimited has their portal, it is clear and understandable. It was really easy to navigate and was straightforward. We had the DJ/Photo booth package, so all the information that was needed from us to HE was all at the palm of our hands. The day of the event, the music was just what we'd hoped had played, the photo booth was a big hit. our DJ and our emcee (not apart of the package, outside hire) were both on the same page. We were able to choose how we wanted our design for our photobooth, and it came out exceeding my expectations. The schedule of events really helped everyone be in sync with one another. HE was also on top of responding to all of my questions and concerns, great communication with them!" -Melanie

August 10, 2023 Wedding - Hyatt Regency ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "We are so happy that we have chosen you all to take part in our special night! From the photobooth to our monogram to the lighting to the music, we could not have asked for anything better! Our guests have complimented how the lighting looked in the ballroom, how much fun they had during our reception, and how great the DJs and Emcee were.
Nate and EJ were amazing! The dance floor was full of energy and nothing but positi ve vibes from beginning to end. Nate and EJ also did a great job reading the room a nd played the right songs to keep our guests dancing and jumping. We also loved having Braddah Bryan who provided such great positive energy! He kept our reception run smoothly and our guests engaged.
Though we personally did not take as many photos as we would have liked with the photobooth, our guests loved it. We love having the copies of our own!
The lighting we chose perfectly matched our style that we were looking for. It was
like our own mini EDC! We also loved our monogram!
As for communication, we appreciated the professionalism and timely responses from Marvin, Hanson, and the rest of the team. Having calls with Hanson, Nate, and Bryan showed us how enthusiastic they are with the business. We knew we chose the right team!
Also, having the portal with all the different documents and reminders is a good idea! Having everything in one place helped us stay organized and keep track of what was needed to be done.

It was obvious that the DJ actually paid attention to what we asked for. Your st aff was able to show their experience with the venue by setting up the lighting in the perfect spots to highlight the beautiful trees and make the venue sparkle after sunset. It goes without saying that all of your equipment functioned perfectly, lig hts, cold sparks, sound system, mikes, etc. The bride & groom and I could not have been more pleased with everything you provided during the event and all the communication before the event." -Fernanda
September 9, 2023 Wedding - Queen Kapiolani Deck ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Reid and I left the music preference sheet primarily blank as we didn't have any particular choices on music. Our DJ, Royce, selected great song choices that really Went with our crowd of all ages from mid 70's to 6 month olds.

Initially, I didn't think lighting for my wedding was necessary, though I was definitely proven wrong. The lighting was amazing and we loved how it went with every moment of the evening such as the red lighting with the red lions of the lion dance.

Overall, we were very pleased with everything including the communication with Marvin & selecting every preference for each service.
